WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP? We are in need of a teacher for our Religious Education Program, which takes place Sunday mornings at 10:15 during the school year. This volunteer service is shared with a team teacher, every other week. Teaching materials are provided, and training opportunities are available.  CHILDRENS LITURGY - At the 9:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m. Masses each weekend, children in grades K-4 are invited to a Liturgy of the Word especially designed for children in their age group. The children then return to their parents for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
 PRE-SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL
Pre-School Sunday School starts September 25, 2011- Our Pre-School Program (3 & 4 year olds) meets during the 9 a.m. Sunday Mass, across the street in the Kindergarten Patio. Registration is required, and you may register your child at drop off or by contacting the Religious Education Office. We are always in need of parents to help with this program (one Sunday a month).  Vacation Bible School June 18-June 22, 2012 from 9:00-12:00
This fun-filled, faith-filled adventure happens once a year in June. Our VBS program is open to children in preschool thru 6th grade. Older children (Grades 7 thru high school) and adults also participate in the week by volunteering their time and talent! More details will be available in Spring 2012.
Adult Education
• Bible Studies, Continuing Faith Education Series, Speakers and Presentations are offered periodically during the year. Please check the back for upcoming opportunities!
• Mom’s Bible Study and Support Group (children are welcome!) meets Friday mornings during the school year. Contact Gerry Barlow for more information at (858)273-9533
• Women’s Bible Study meets every Tuesday (except for summers) from 1:00-2:30. Contact Mary Knudsen (619)276-4329 for more information
• RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)-for adults who are interested in becoming Catholic or for those baptized Catholics who wish to be fully initiated into the Church.
