The mission of Altar Servers is to minister to God’s altar with reverence, fidelity and love.
Altar Servers assist the celebrant during the Mass and other special services.
Any boy or girl in 4th grade or older who has made their First Holy Communion is eligible to become an Altar Server.
All new Altar Servers are required to take a three day (1½ hours each day) training class.
Servers need to arrive 15 minutes before the mass. Servers must find substitutes if not able to serve on their assigned day/time.
Servers will be assigned to a quarterly mass schedule based on Mass preference.
Altar servers are eligible to receive service hour credits for serving at mass.
