Welcome to the Religious Education Program at St. Mary Magdalene Church! Our Program is dedicated to providing our parishioners with ongoing opportunities to grow in their faith, knowledge and understanding of Christ and His Church. Within Religious Education, there are a variety of formation programs to enrich the faith of both children and adults. As we grow in faith and participate in the sacramental life of the Church, we pray the God's grace will touch the hearts of children and adults alike, bringing us closer to Christ.
Religious Education Program - Public School Children Grades K-6th
Due to COVID-19 we are currently running classes only for the 1st and 2nd Year of the First Communion Sacramental Preparation Program.
Looking ahead to life after Covid-19 restrictions we hope to offer all our classes from Grades K-6th starting September 2021.
If you are interested in being a Catechist teacher for Religious Education at St. Mary Magdalene, our classes are offered Sunday mornings and there are opportunities to serve as a team teacher, aide, substitute teacher, and table monitors. We provide you with training, materials, and support.
